Please keep your bandage on until you are in a clean safe environment to remove and clean your tattoo!

You will need:

• Fragrance free liquid hand soap (Dial Gold, Softsoap, Dr Bronners Unscented)

• Ointment (Aquaphore, Hustle Butter, Vitalitree)

• Fragrance Free Lotion (Curel, Aveeno, Lubriderm)

#1. Remove all bandaging and throw directly into the garbage.

#2. Wash hands thoroughly.

#3. Wash tattoo- lather tattoo with your fingertips and liquid fragrance free hand soap, repeat if the tattoo feels slimy.

#4. Dry area with a paper towel or let air dry (no bath or hand towels)

#5. Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor or artist recommend ointment to the tattoo.

Repeat 2-3 times a day for the first 3 days. 

Upon day 4, discontinue ointment, and switch to applying fragrance free lotion to the tattoo. Use as needed until the skin returns completely to normal.

 

Healing takes 2-4 weeks depending on the tattoo and your body.

During the healing process:

NO sun or tanning of any kind.

NO soaking in ANY kind of water.

NO picking at the pealies!

Do NOT re-bandage the tattoo for any reason.

Once your tattoo is healed, always use sunblock to keep your work looking as bright and fresh as it did on day 1!
